Canyon and Millet recently announced their exclusive collaboration, bringing together the worlds of gravel biking and the mountains. Their teams came together to create a capsule collection that merges Millet’s technical expertise with Canyon’s pure performance DNA.

While high mountains remain Millet’s foundation, adventure no longer stops at the summit, it begins on the bike, continues on the wall, and unfolds at the bivouac.
This collaboration celebrates these diverse, memorable expériences, made even more meaningful when shared.

In that spirit, Canyon and Millet invited their communities to a one-of-a-kind event: Bike & Climb, through the streets of Paris. On July 3rd, Millet athletes, Canyon cyclists, journalists, and passionate climbers and gravel riders gathered to take part in a unique ride blending biking and urban bouldering across the city.

The day began at Millet’s Vieux-Colombier brand store with an exclusive presentation of the collaboration pieces. Then, with crash pads strapped to cargo bikes, participants set off across Paris, pedaling from the Vivaldi bouldering spot (Paris 12) to the Orsay spot (Paris 7). Millet climbing team members Naïlé Meignan and Nils Favre joined in, offering tips and encouragement to cyclists as they tackled the urban blocs. To wrap up the day, everyone headed to the Millet brand store in Le Marais, on rue des Archives, for a festive evening with drinks and a DJ set.

Supported by Millets partner Polartec, this Bike & Climb day embodied the energy and creativity of those who are redefining the outdoor spirit, blending disciplines to reach new summits.

With Canyon being a German brand—and Germany a key growth market for Millet—the collaboration naturally formed around gravel cycling, a discipline that bridges endurance, nature, and exploration. Millet brought its expertise in lightweight yet durable packs and performance fabrics, designed to offer real comfort for cyclists tackling long and varied routes.

Rather than focusing solely on performance, both teams decided to anchor the collection around a deeper theme: adventure.

“Athletes like Symon Welfringer and Emilie Morier move fluidly between the bike and the rock face. This collaboration reflects that rhythm—it’s their daily reality,” explains Millet’s brand manager.

The capsule includes eight unisex technical pieces, designed to support adventurers from start to summit—starting out by bike, finishing on foot. This "door-to-peak" concept blends disciplines in a seamless outdoor journey.

Hero pieces from the collection include:

- The Route 3L JKT: a fully waterproof jacket made with Polartec and Pertex membranes—built to withstand harsh conditions.

-  The Route Fleece Jacket: a breathable mid-layer with a balaclava-style hood that fits under a helmet, made for intense, high-output efforts in changing environments.

For Millet, venturing into the world of gravel cycling isn’t just a creative decision—it’s a strategic one. Compared to traditional mountaineering, the gravel segment offers a much broader market in both volume and revenue potential. It's an opportunity to expand while staying true to the brand’s technical roots.

But for any of this to work, storytelling is key.
